Jacob Fronko ’17 (BS ecology) completed the physician assistant program and plans to pursue emergency medicine. Zachary High ’18 (BS biology - anatomy and physiology, Spanish) earned his doctor of medicine degree and will complete his residency in pathology with UPMC Medical Education in Pittsburgh, Pa. He is also a recipient of the Dean’s Award, Student Educator Award, and was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society. Carli King ’19 (BS biology – cell and molecular) completed her doctor of philosophy degree in biomedical sciences and wrote her dissertation on “Investigating the role of TCF7L1 in colorectal cancer.”

She earned a master’s in classical archaeology from Tufts University in 2013.

Angie Seanard graduated this year from Bloomsburg University with an MSN - AGNP. Dr. Lori Parke ’99 was able to keep Lycoming College blood strong and pure, hooding Angie at the graduates’ ceremony in May 2024. Angie will start a new position as a nephrology nurse practitioner at Geisinger Medical Center in September. 07 Lindsay Courteau was recently promoted from the director of marketing and public relations to the associate vice president of strategic partnerships and community engagement at Geneva College. 08 The New Jersey Department of Education has awarded Joanna (Petrie) Scarangello with the 2023 Exemplary Educator Award. This award was only presented to 123 educators this year, and it is meant to identify educators who are valued by their school and community and have exhibited strong knowledge and skills, an inspiring presence, and a clear vision for quality teaching and learning. Joanna’s Mount Olive Middle School Select Choir was chosen to perform at the New Jersey Music Educators Association Annual State Conference in February 2023. Groups chosen to perform are considered exemplars of musicianship and education. She directed the North Jersey School Music Association’s Region I Junior High Honor Choir in March 2023. Her time at Lycoming College was so very special to her. The professors and programs helped her grow and pushed her to be the person she is today.
