On April 13, 2023, he had the distinguished opportunity to represent Lycoming College as a delegate on behalf of President Kent Trachte, Ph.D., at the inauguration of Stacey Robertson, Ph.D., Widener University’s 11th President. “The inauguration at Widener was electrifying! I was so honored to process with colleagues from around the country, proudly represent Lycoming as a delegate, and show our Warrior Pride!” Additionally, Austin is the 2023 recipient of the Sankofa Award — recognizing the undergraduate and professional achievements of Black alumni. He served as the guest speaker at Lycoming’s Black Student Union’s Night of Black Excellence held on campus in the spring.

Kyle is a graduate of neighboring Pennsylvania College of Technology. 14 Alyssa Young was recognized during Northside Hospital’s Volunteer Appreciation Week. As the community ambassador for her department, she was responsible for facilitating volunteer opportunities to her peers and organizing fundraisers. She received the Gold Level for 21+ hours of community service in addition to her full-time position at the Towne Lake Radiology Center. Following his graduation from Villanova Law in 2007, Steve joined Gawthrop Greenwood in West Chester, Pa., where he grew his career and eventually became partner and head of the tax, trust, and estates department. At the firm, he also served as treasurer, overseeing the budgeting processes and assisting in financial matters. In 2009, while working for Gawthrop Greenwood, Steve earned his LLM in taxation from the Villanova Graduate Tax Program. In addition to his practice at Gawthrop Greenwood, Steve served as general counsel, chief compliance officer, and eventually chief executive officer for one of the first 12 growers and processors of medical marijuana in Pennsylvania. His expertise in this niche area of law included providing legal services for medical marijuana operators and executives, and providing due diligence services for potential investors as well as support in employment law, workplace issues, advising fiduciaries on
